Step 1 of 7

A Continuance allows a Corporation to re-locate into another jurisdiction. Instead of incorporating again, the corporation continues from one province/jurisdiction into another so that it continues its existence as though it were incorporated in the destination. In other words, it is the process of exporting a corporation from its current province or jurisdiction and importing into a different province or jurisdiction without loosing its continuation of existence. The process of continuance is requested by submitting a form called Article of Continuance with the destination.
Export from (Current Province/Jurisdiction): This is the province or jurisdiction where your corporation is currently incorporated and as shown in your incorporation documents.
Import into (New Province/Jurisdiction): This is the province or jurisdiction where you wish to move your corporation into.
